Cleric Is Willing To Do Anything For A BG Artist… Anything…

Hello! This is Mac posting to all of ya for some news on the project. I’m here instead of David because he injured his hand. I have no idea what he did but he probably punched a wall over something stupid. Anyway. Here’s what little information I could scrap together and call it “news”.

Routes! Gotta love ’em, right? In the beginning of a visual novel you can start off hating a character, but in their route you can learn to love them! Well, here’s a status of what’s going on with the heroine routes of our visual novel. After a giant change (as mentioned in a earlier post by David), we had to rethink our heroine routes completely. Currently, we are in the process of getting a general idea of what’s happening in the routes. There’s not a lot I can actually say about the routes specifically. Unfortunate as this is, you’ll get a chance when the full visual novel is released.

Now, let’s go back a bit to the common route of our visual novel. It’s still a work in progress, but it’s definitely coming along. The rough draft of the days in the common are almost all complete, minus a couple. The editors have been doing a fine job as to edit most of the drafts. It seems as though the common rough drafts should all be finished by the end of this month (although it could take up to the end of next).

Here’s something that’s a bit disappointing. We are planning to release a demo with just the common once that’s finished. Originally, it was supposed to be around the end of summer, but… complications have come up. This has pushed our demo release date further into the year. As of yet, we do not have an estimated time for the release. This setback is due to lack of resources in music and art (I wish I had something to show you guys, sorry). Don’t get us wrong though, we’re pleased with our artists and composers by a long shot. The fact that they are helping us for free is simply mind-blowing. We could not even think of doing this project without their help.

Meetings~ They last for hours! Hours, I tell you! Yet, it’s all for your sake. We are not going to give you some half-baked cookie of a visual novel and tell you that we tried our best. No, we are going to give you the best damn cookie that you have ever had. Well. I don’t know if it’s the best ever, but it’s going to be one amazing cookie. Speaking of cookies, I haven’t had any Girl Scouts cookies lately. I wonder when they sell… Oh! Sorry, I got distracted. Back to the topic at hand, meetings are what is going to help this visual novel the most. We’re having full blown meetings weekly with the writers. We’re discussing the plot, the heroine routes, and even characters and what their roles are. It’s definitely a lot of work, but it’s going to be worth it. I’m sure of this.

Now as what my title suggests, other than possible male prostitution, we are still currently looking for a BG artist. Please, please, please help us. If you know of any people who can make us some BGs for free, please contact us and give us their contact information. It is important that we find a BG artist. Anyway, I hope you continue to watch our progress unfold and even play our visual novel when it comes out! Until next time, guys!

A Wild Misaki Appeared!

Hello all! This is DragonGuardians, one of the newest writers on the team! Today, I’m posting here instead of Cleric mainly because he’s a lazy bastard! Anyways, I would like to start this off by introducing a character, Misaki Ayaka:

Ayaka

Thank you Dizzyworld2 for the art! Misaki Ayaka is a model in our visual novel. Her personality is cool and composed, but she’s also a childhood friend of the main character.

Production at Fallen Snow Studios has been running pretty awesome! We should have our heroines’ introduction rough drafts done by Wednesday, if Cleric isn’t lazy… Diamonit, we need your slave driver powers to get him to work! Also, we have the rough drafts of Day 1 complete! In other news, we are still in dire need of a composer, so if you’re a composer out there with nothing to do, come join us!
